7 basic steps to success 4 a store front business

Ok I know its been awhile, but there has been some great things happen out their in the information highway so here is a little bit of it.  A gentleman named David Alexander said there is 7 basic steps to success and this was back in 2003.  So I’m only going to mention the one’s you can use today and the others I’ll change to fit today’s times.

THE 7 BASIC STEPS TO SUCCESS

1. DEFINE YOUR PROJECT IDEAS (on paper)
2. IDENTIFY YOUR TEAM
3. CREATE A WRITTEN PLAN
4. OBTAIN YOU BUSINESS LICENSE
5. LOCATE THE FUNDS NEEDED
6. SECURE YOUR LOCATION AND GET COMPLETELY READY
7. OPEN YOUR DOORS AND HIT THE MARKET RUNNING

Now all business really need to take a look at number 3, because that is really important.  I don’t care what business you are in, without a written plan you are like a deer in headlights, you’ll be stuck with no place to run  and then you are going to be hit with the harsh reality of not moving no where in your business and then you are DEAD.

Today I’m going to be talking about how a change need to happen really soon, because the time is getting short.  I just left a seminar this weekend that was taught  by a great person named Mike Klingler, who is now apart of my family.  This is going to be short and sweet but straight forward and to the point.

1. GET OUT THE  40-40-40 CLUB
2. MOVE  SLOWLY OUT THE  SBBB CLUB

Now one I’ll explain and two I’ll get to later, because it’s refered to my brothers and sisters out there.

So the 40-40-40 club:

40- forty hours a week

40- forty years at a job

40- for forty percent of the income after you retire if it’s possible  to get. 

That is the 40-40-40 club.

A little word part 2………

This is the information diva back again.  I hope I didn’t beat anyone up on the things that needed to be done by you beginners in the start of your business.  I just want you to be clear on the to do’s and how it will maybe shed some light on where you’re going. 

So today’s word comes from of course my favorite book Proverbs: Proverbs 20 vs. 13

“Do not love sleep or you will grow poor;

stay awake and you will have food to spare.”

I think this is self explanatory, but for the one’s that it might not connect to, here is where I’m going with this as it refers to business.  Keeping it simple if you sleep until 10 am  and your store opens at 9am or your business hours are supposed to be 10am – 4 pm you are loosing money every minute you’re not open. So keep sleeping away your money you will grow poor or decrease your revenue.  So get up early, get things accomplished, and your income will grow.  Don’t forget give value to your customers and always under promise and over deliver.

Ok, with that it’s time for step 4 for the internet network marketers and mlm businesses.  Now you internet businesses you want to start offering to you clients or customers free value information by internet and the way to do that is by doing a blog  with wordpress.com or blogger, but if you want control go to wordpress.org or weebly.com.

So when you start this make sure you ask yourself some questions before input.

1. What do I have to offer people?
2. What kind of people do my product work for?

A little Word to keep you Focus…..part 1

This is the Information Diva, with a word to keep you on your toes as you get focus on starting your business.

So one of my favorite books is Proverbs so of course that should be a clue of what I use to keep me going.   Now for 2day the word will come from Proverbs 20 vs. 4:

“A SLUGGARD does not plow in season;

so at harvest time he looks but fines

nothing.”

As we move  on to step 4 (internet /mlm businesses) and step 6(store front businesses) for the 5 basic steps and 8 basic steps to do when starting a business.  But first I wanted to refer to this verse 4 of Proverbs and break it down when it comes to business so you get an understanding of why you should be doing these things or you may ask yourself why isn’t my business going the way it should be.

Ok, so you have heard me mention in post before about Sluggards right. Well listen to this while I break this apart.  The first have of the verse reads “A Sluggard does not plow in season,” which means to me and don’t ya’ll church people get all defense, this is just what I think you can tell me what you think in the comments below. So as I was saying , which means to me that your business isn’t planting any seeds to your clients or customers at the right time, in other words you are not listening to your customers needs.  Don’t offer me a lawn mower, when I need a blower right now.  Do you get it, so give your customers or clients value when you are thinking about starting your business or if business already.

Now, the second half of the verse say’s “So at harvest time he looks but fines nothing.”  So in other words stop not listening to your clients or customers, because your revenue or cash flow will decrease and you don’t want that.

Now for the 6th step on what to do as a store front business you now want to start getting your logo ready so it can be on your News letters and flyers to promote your business and for the beginners go to vista printing and go daddy for both and the news letter is step 7.  For the more expanding your business everywhere you can get a more upscale designs if you want to pay the price. I can get that to you only if you are serious.

Now we have completed three out of the five steps, let’s review to make sure that you have done all that I have said, but it is your choice to do this I’m  just offering this information to you free of charge.  So, Store Front Business

1. You have your Domain name ,which you  purchase from Godaddy.com
2. Your 800# from  grasshopper.com
3. your email address from gmail, vista, or godaddy.com because it can have your business name included.
4. get your facebook fan page up with your name and the business attached to it.
5. Twitter account  and Linkedin account.  Your username should be your business or something that connects to you business name.

Now for the one’s starting an internet business, which includes those network marketers and mlm businesses your steps are shorter, but require some work on your part.

1. get your domain name
2. get an email account
3. get your facebook account,Twitter account, and meet-up account because here is where you meet people you should network with. (Get into that later)

ok so now  those steps are done if not please get them going and follow I’ll get into great detail later.

How Long before you get it?

I know it has been awhile, but I have been training others on how to get their business started for a fee ($3,000), while you all get it for free.  But today is not long I just wanted to give you a word today from  “The Good Book”, as my bigmama would call it. This word comes from Proverbs 6 vs. 9-11.  Now remember these words as  you are building your business. 

How long will you lie there, you  SLUGGARD?

When will you get up from your SLEEP?

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest-

and proverty will come on you like an armed man.

Remember the word SLUGGARD, because it rhymes with LAGGARDS and in a couple of days I will introduce you to one out of the four partners I work with who we call “The Producer” he will go into great detail on what a Laggard is  if you don’t know.

Now world, I just want you to have a good foundation ( mind set) when doing the steps I’m telling you to accomplish.   I will be given you the five basic steps to start your online business as well as you traditional store front business. you have up to the 3rd step already and 2morrow I’ll start with step four.

So until 2morrow remember to always think bigger than what you think you are.

How Can You Survive The Economy now days!!

What I’m about to talk about is something That we all might take for granted.  And that is the life we live now is not appreciated.  You have food, shelter, clothes on your back, but it still not enough for us earthly beings who want more from life and that is fine just as long as you don’t have it control you or become your GOD!

The only thing that I want to mention is that through the journey I’ll be takeing you through of helping your business grow you are going to have to have a perspective of where you are in life and where you are going to be as your income will increase.  So, be thankful for where you are at, if you don’t be thankful for all the stuff you have now, how  do you think that the Law of Attraction will bring you what you want. Being thankful in the moment, act like it is already here, so later it will not be a surprise when it is to come. 

Those info-commercials that come on during the time when you could be at your lowest are there to bring you down about yourself.  Examples, you’re to fat so get the new pill or exercise equipment.  Now don’t get me wrong some of those things work like the X-90 exercise cd’s hardcore but they work.  Those get rich quick ones or 90% bad for your wallet, so be careful you can get caught up.  The devil really knows how to catch you right where he wants you.

So just listen and follow and I will make sure to get you to the place , where you are meant to be in this world. But you have to remember to follow along and ask questions if you don’t understand, because I’m not trying to lead you the wrong way but to the land of opportunity.  This way you can be a blessing to others, just as I will be to you with the information I have to carrier you through.

Ok now you should have completed the 2 steps I explained above.

Now, the information I’m going to explain really works for a store front business. Then lastly I’ll go over the internet business.

Ok, What you have done so far should be getting your

•  business name,
•  business email address
•  800# that works as a dual phone and fax.

Now your 3rd step is to get a news letter  or blog started for the business.  Remember when I said you don’t have to have a site and you could update that later.  Well this newsletter or blog is your website,  as a beginner you want to sign up at wordpress.com and just follow the steps to setting it up, just make sure that you have a logo, picture, and subscription on the site, when you get advanced you want to switch to wordpress.org, because you control the entire site, plus you have to pay for hosting yourself on that site.

On your newsletter or blog you want to have your logo on it towards the top left or bottom left.  Now make sure you have your picture in the right corner with a  subscription under it.  Because once the traffic starts your picture well be the one that will be recognized. And that is what you want, that way you drive free traffic to your site.    This is that free advertising you are looking for.

Ok a tip would be to go to the website called ratepoint.com.  They can help with newsletters and email delivery.
